AN INVITATION TO JOIN OUR HISTORIC FLEET

Membership in the Historic Naval Ships Association is open to any individual who supports the preservation of our naval heritage. Membership, renewable annually, brings with it the satisfaction that you are helping to preserve some of the greatest ships and craft that ever sailed the oceans in defense of freedom. Membership fees are tax deductible.

The mission of the Association is to assist its Fleet Members in the acquisition, restoration, and display of their museums and memorials. It also encourages active participation by the public in volunteer support of the ships; and conducts seminars and exchange programs to enhance the professional development of their staffs. Additionally, it publicizes youth encampments and other programs of the Fleet Members; and assists in obtaining funding, artifacts, and parts for the vessels.

Fleet and Associate Membership

A non-proft organization with a historic vessel wishing to apply for Fleet Membership should review Article III, Sections 1 and 2 of the HNSA Bylaws for membership criteria.

Any organization whose objectives are compatible with the objectives of the Association may apply for Associate Membership. They may be organizations working to acquire museum ships, suppliers of products or services to the Fleet Members and other maritime heritage organizations. Please review Article III, Sections 1 and 2 of the HNSA Bylaws for membership criteria.
